New Work/ Colorado II

I only had one morning on my recent Colorado trip to get up early and photograph the early morning light. I’d scouted these aspens the day before and knew ahead of time just where I needed to be to get this image. I was fortunate to have a very still morning to avoid any movement in the leaves or swaying of the trunks. This was made with my medium format camera, which has outstanding sharpness- the details in the bark on the high resolution image is astounding.
